Costa del Este / East Coast, also called "City of a Million Pines" was founded in 1966 and is situated about 330 kms along Route 11.
This city, which has quiet beaches that make it an ideal place for a family vacation / holiday, was historically a bit of a desert and was once known for its "moving sand dunes" that would move around constantly. For this reason that different authorities suggested creating a bank along the sea front planted with Tamarisco and Longifolia Acacia Trees. Even a short walk around the streets of Costa del Este, reminds us of nature, as the entire city is forrested. Also every street and road is named after the species of a flower or a tree. Truly a natural place.
